LYON COUNTY IS A Great Place to Live
AND
THE LYON COUNTY CHAMBER OF
COMMERCE IS ON A
MISSION
We will lead our business
community in economic growth by:
·
Focusing on tourism;
·
Recognizing and focusing on new and expanded industry;
·
Coordinating closely with city, county, state and federal governments
and community organizations; and
·
Organizing and promoting activities that spotlight our community as a
quality and exciting place to live and recreate.
Lyon County's Chamber of Commerce is "on the grow!" With
president Rick Fullard at the helm, this organization is comprised of
businessmen and women who have the growth and economic development of
Lyon County at heart. From bank executives to real estate agents to mom
and pop operations, every segment of business in the area is involved.
The Chamber promotes doing business right here at home, and keeping
those local dollars in the local economy. Its members help one another
by partnering together, referring business to one another, and generally
fostering a spirit of unity in the business community.
If you're a Chamber member, we applaud your civic
involvement in joining forces with your fellow businesspeople to create
a stronger, sounder economic environment here in Lyon County. If you're
not a Chamber member, we encourage you to find out why the majority of
this community's vital and successful businesses - both large and small
- make membership a priority. And if you're a prospective business, we
invite you to see the future right here on the shores of beautiful Lake
Barkley.
As always, we encourage each member to work together,
both for the good of the community and to support each other
individually when you have a need for a product or service one of your
fellow Chamber members can provide.
We also urge you to get involved in 2010. There are
scores of ways for you to benefit from Chamber membership, just as there
are numerous ways you can provide YOUR unique perspective, talents and
abilities to your fellow businesspeople.
Here's to a successful and profitable 2010 - and
remember, the Chamber WORKS... for each of us.
